Mr. LANGWORTHY. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the State University of New York at Fredonia as it celebrates its 200th anniversary and two centuries of higher education, service, and impact on generations of students and communities across Western New York.
Fredonia Academy. Over the past two centuries, that mission has evolved from a small academy into a comprehensive university within the State University of New York system. Throughout its history, Fredonia has remained committed to educating students, preparing future leaders, and strengthening the communities it serves.
“Celebrating Two Centuries of Impact,” we honor the faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members whose dedication has shaped the university. Their contributions have extended far beyond the classroom, enriching Western New York and making a lasting difference across our state and Nation.
Mr. Speaker, I ask that the United States House of Representatives join me in recognizing SUNY Fredonia on its 200th anniversary and in celebrating its enduring contributions to Western New York, the State of New York, and the generations of Americans it has served.
