Mr. LANGWORTHY. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the Big Flats Fire Department on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. For a century, the department has stood as a pillar of service, dedication, and commitment to the Big Flats community.
an essential role in protecting the lives and property of residents throughout the Southern Tier. Generations of firefighters have answered the call, responding to emergencies and providing critical assistance to their neighbors in times of need.
selflessness of its members, both past and present. Their willingness to volunteer their time and put the safety of others first represents the very best of our communities.
Mr. Speaker, I ask that the United States House of Representatives join me in recognizing the Big Flats Fire Department on its 100th anniversary and in extending our sincere gratitude to its members, past and present, for their century of dedicated service. Their commitment to protecting the Big Flats community is worthy of our highest appreciation.
