in the house of representatives
Mr. KEAN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the 50th anniversary of Temple Har Shalom in Warren Township, New Jersey. For more than five decades, this Reform Synagogue has steadfastly supported Jewish communities across Somerset, Union, and Morris counties. Since its founding in 1970, Temple Har Shalom has served as a cornerstone of spiritual fulfillment, offering extensive educational programs for both children and adults. Under the leadership of Rabbi Joshua Greenbaum, who began serving as Senior Rabbi in July 2025, the Temple continues to embrace
Jewish tradition with an innovative, 21st-century approach.
dedication to service. Their commitment to a wide range of programs enables members of the Jewish diaspora to thrive within a welcoming and supportive community. Through weekly Shabbat services, lifecycle events, social activities, auxiliary groups, volunteer opportunities, as well as a premier preschool and comprehensive K-12 Jewish Educational Program, the Temple ensures that all members receive spiritual support and education.
Mr. Speaker, I offer my sincere gratitude to Temple Har Shalom for their unwavering dedication to enriching and uplifting New Jersey's Jewish community. Their 50th anniversary stands as a significant milestone in our state's faith and cultural history. As we celebrate their achievements, I am confident that Temple Har Shalom will continue to make a lasting impact for many years to come.
