Mr. JOHNSON of South Dakota. Mr. Speaker, I rise to recognize and thank Elizabeth Walters, of Washington, D.C., for her eight years of dedication and service to the State of South Dakota. Elizabeth served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director in my office, following her early roles as Legislative Correspondent and Legislative Assistant.

Select Committee on China, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and numerous other areas including veterans' affairs. Her portfolio also included appropriations, defense, foreign affairs, oversight, rural water, science, supply chain, and tax.
priorities including Keep the Nine, the gross vehicle weight pilot program, tribal trust land, and other supply chain-related legislation. She was successful in reaching out to other Member offices to increase co-sponsorship of these priorities.
