Amends the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act of 1978.
Reauthorizes and expands State-wide assessments and strategies for forest resources.
Authorizes appropriations of up to $40 million for each fiscal year from 2008 to 2029 for developing and implementing State-wide assessments and strategies.
Allows the Secretary to use additional funds from other sources under the Act, with a cap of $40 million on total funding in any fiscal year for these assessments and strategies.
