Amends title 10 of the United States Code to enhance health care benefits for Gold Star surviving spouses.
Removes the three-year time limit for eligibility for TRICARE Prime benefits for surviving spouses of armed forces members whose deaths are covered by specific provisions.
Extends similar provisions to dental benefits, also removing the three-year time limit for eligibility.
Applies the amendments to surviving spouses regardless of when the member’s death occurred.
