Prohibits third-party restaurant reservation services from offering or arranging unauthorized reservations for food service establishments.
Requires a written agreement between the third-party service and the food service establishment to list or promote reservations.
Violations are treated as unfair or deceptive acts under the Federal Trade Commission Act.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is responsible for enforcing this legislation.
The law will take effect 180 days after enactment.
