Requires the Administrator of General Services to sell specific property related to the United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth.
The sale must occur within two years of the enactment of the legislation.
The property includes all buildings and improvements located in Missouri associated with the penitentiary.
A survey must be conducted to determine the exact legal description of the property before the sale.
Any deferred maintenance obligations from a 1967 agreement with the Farley-Beverly Drainage District must be addressed prior to the sale.
Costs for the survey and maintenance preparation will be reimbursed from the sale’s gross proceeds.
Net proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the Federal Buildings Fund and can only be used with future appropriations.
The property cannot be sold to any foreign individuals or entities.
