The transfer is intended to support the implementation of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
The funds to be transferred are defined as “covered funds” from the Bilateral Economic Assistance under the Economic Support Fund of the Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act.
Excluded from the transfer are funds designated for preventing and responding to food insecurity.
