Legislation Details

Amends title 41 and title 10 of the United States Code.
Aims to provide best value through the multiple award schedule program.
Revises the criteria for orders and contracts to include:
- The option for the lowest overall cost alternative.
- The option for obtaining best value as determined by the Administrator of General Services, in alignment with the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Seeks to promote the best interests of the Federal Government in procurement processes.
