Funds would be used to continue the construction of the Pajaro River Flood Risk Management Project.
This project will provide flood protection along the Pajaro River and its tributaries, including for the Town of Pajaro, City of Watsonville, and high-value agricultural land.
Funding will be used to reconstruct failing flood control levees along the Pajaro River and its tributaries.
This project would provide 100-year flood protection along the Pajaro River and Tributaries in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties, including for the economically disadvantaged City of Watsonville, the severely disadvantaged Town of Pajaro, and surrounding high-value agricultural land.
Funding for this project is critical to the continued operation of ISR assets at Beale AFB as well as critical foundation to sustain Beale’s mission and long-range strategy.

The President’s budget proposal for 2025 includes $43.46 million in construction funding for the West Sacramento Project (Project) to continue implementation that will provide 200-year flood protection to the residents and businesses of West Sacramento.
This funding will provide improvements to correct seepage and erosion damage to approximately 41 miles of existing levees along the Sacramento River, Yolo Bypass, and Sacramento River Deep Water Ship Channel to protect the City of West Sacramento from a significant flood risk.

This funding will be used to protect critical infrastructure, provide habitat restoration within the Phase 3 basin, and provide flood risk reduction to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
City of Cypress Myra Avenue Storm Water Pump Station No. 1

This project will support geotechnical investigations, identification of levee voids, and levee repairs, which will protect the levees and reduce the risk of flood damage to City bridges, utilities, and the public in Oceanside.
Funding will be used to increases reservoir capacity, improving flood protection, safeguarding communities, infrastructure, and farmland.
