Directs the Secretary of the Interior to study whether the Canterbury Shaker Village National Historic Landmark in Merrimack County, New Hampshire should be designated a National Heritage Area. The study must assess suitability and feasibility and include consultation with State and local historic preservation officers, historical societies, tourism offices, and other appropriate organizations and agencies, following the statutory requirements for National Heritage Area studies.
The law defines key terms (Secretary, State, study area) and does not authorize specific funding, set deadlines, or impose penalties; it only requires the Secretary to carry out the study in accordance with existing procedures in title 54, United States Code.
