Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.
Expresses strong respect and support for law enforcement and thanks officers for public safety work, honors those injured or killed, and highlights officer risks including assaults, shootings, deaths, high exposure to traumatic events, suicides, and recent staffing declines. Calls for more officers, better training and equipment, stronger penalties for attacks on officers, and expanded mental‑health resources for officers.
Urges federal, state, and local governments to prioritize resources and policies that improve officer safety and wellbeing, but does not itself create new funding or legal obligations — it is a formal statement of support and recommendations.
