One Stop Shop for Small Business Licensing Act of 2025

This proposal would create a single, easy-to-use website that shows small business owners what permits and licenses they need at the federal, state, and local levels. The site would be organized by where the business is located and the type of business, so owners can quickly find what applies to them.

The Small Business Administration would have to launch this public site within one year after the law takes effect and keep it up to date over time.

• What changes: A centralized “one-stop” website with permitting and licensing requirements across federal, state, and local governments, sorted by location and business type.
