This bill says federal health agencies, including the FDA, NIH, and CDC, would not be allowed to regulate how doctors practice medicine. It also says no federal rule or policy can block doctors from prescribing approved drugs for off-label uses, or from using drugs available under the federal “right to try” pathway (21 U.S.C. 360bbb–0a) .
It does not change any federal limits related to abortion, assisted suicide, euthanasia, mercy killing, coercive family planning, female genital mutilation, or gender transition medical care. Those limits would still apply under other federal laws and policies .
