Replaces the text beginning with the phrase ", employment service" in 29 U.S.C. 49b(d) with a provision requiring that, in each State that has a physical one-stop center, the employment service offices in that State be colocated with the physical one-stop centers in that State.
Amends subsection (e) by revising paragraph (2) to permit physical or virtual one-stop centers (including shared centers across adjacent local areas), adjusts punctuation in subparagraphs (C) and (D), and adds subparagraph (E) allowing a one-stop center to be located at a public institution of higher education; and by revising paragraph (3) to require, in each State that has a physical one-stop center, that the employment service offices in that State be colocated with the physical one-stop centers.
