U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys Proposed Rule for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program: Standards for 2026 and 2027, Partial Waiver of 2025 Cellulosic Biofuel Volume Requirement, and Other Changes (See EPA-HQ-OAR-2024-0505). "Energy Choice Act" (H.R.3699, S.1945), which would prevent bans on energy sources at the state and local level and preserve American energy security, reliability and consumer choice. "Homeowner Energy Freedom Act" (H.R. 4758):Would repeal electrification subsidies in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), "Don't Mess with My Home Appliances Act" (H.R. 626):Would reform the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA) to prevent the Department of Energy from using appliance efficiency standards as a backdoor means of driving non-electric appliances and equipment out of the market.
