An overwhelmingly bipartisan bill to end daylight saving time passed the House yesterday. @VernBuchanan’s legislation supports the law that the Texas Legislature passed last session to end this outdated practice of springing forward and falling back.

Gas prices are coming down. It’s simple, the greater supply of oil the lower the cost of gas. But gas prices will stay higher in blue states because of their costly gas taxes. My @HouseGOP colleagues and I will continue to unleash U.S. energy production and lower gas prices.

Worth the watch. 250 years ago, the Founders established our great nation based on the rights, freedoms, and liberties endowed to all men. Since then, generations of Americans have fought and died to preserve those freedoms. There is far more that unites us than divides us.
