The administration’s exemption of oil and gas operations from the Endangered Species Act is illegal, and does little to solve the energy crisis created by Trump's illegal war in Iran. I'm working on legislation to reverse this decision and protect endangered species in the Gulf.
The ALERT Act is coming to the House Floor for a vote. I'll be voting YES. This bill would implement all 50 recommendations in @NTSB's final report on last year’s January 29 collision at National Airport, which tragically took 67 lives. This bill is major improvement on
Donald Trump promised to be "tough on crime" and bring back "law and order” but his DOJ is turning a blind eye to serious crime, including terrorism and drug trafficking, to prioritize a destructive immigration agenda.
The ALERT Act just passed the House! I’m glad to see its aviation safety reforms reach the Senate and urge my colleagues to make improvements where needed. Congress must prevent a tragedy like last year’s from happening again, and that starts with passing this bill into law.
