I join the Armenian community today in mourning the 1.5 million innocent lives murdered in the Armenian genocide. I condemn the continued human rights violations impacting Armenians and proudly stand with Michigan's resilient Armenian community as they share their stories.

There have been reports that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth may have tried to invest heavily in the defense industry just before the start of the war with Iran. I am demanding answers. If this is true, it is a betrayal to the troops who are risking their lives in this war.

I’m relieved that everyone is safe after the attempted attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, including the Secret Service agent who was shot. I’m deeply grateful to the Secret Service and all the brave law enforcement officers who acted quickly. Political violence
