Our nation is at war. Americans are struggling to afford everyday essentials.   Yet tonight, the President is using his time to rehash baseless grievances from six years ago.   Whatever he may claim, the President lost in 2020. It has been proven over and over.

This new Russia sanctions bill is an effort to narrow the focus and to really get at those countries that are helping to fund this war in Ukraine and fund Russia's war machine. China is number one on the list.

Donald Trump cannot accept he lost in 2020. Whatever he may claim about that election tonight, don't believe him.

I am so proud to see my bill to cap insulin costs at $35 a month advance one step closer to a vote on the Senate floor! I urge my Senate colleagues to move this bill forward, which is sorely needed to lower costs for Americans with diabetes.

The momentum is with Ukraine. Russia's economy is being hit hard, their oil infrastructure is under attack by Ukrainian drones and they are losing over 30,000 casualties a month in Ukraine. The more pressure we can put on Putin now, the better chance we have to end this war.
