Today’s SCOTUS decision is exactly why Congress can't sit on the sidelines. Americans deserve election laws that are clear, consistent, and worthy of the public's trust. The Senate must pass the SAVE America Act now.

This was a truly shameful ruling by the High Court. The 14th Amendment was never meant to guarantee U.S. citizenship to infants of illegal immigrants or temporary visitors. Congress must make this right.
