Democrats have offered to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA, virtually all of DHS, without writing a blank check to ICE. The Senate passed a bipartisan bill to do exactly that. House Republicans won’t bring it to the floor. Republicans are choosing politics over solutions.
When Congress returns, Republicans must finally do their jobs and fund TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and critical services Americans rely on. I will not vote to fund ICE until we can dismantle it and make serious reforms to how that agency operates.
Today, we recognize the wage gap between Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander women and white non-Hispanic men. AANHPI women earned about 83¢ for every $1. We need to break down economic barriers that affect the AANHPI community. #AANHPIEqualPay
