Congratulations to Tyler from Dow High on winning our Congressional Art Competition! His artwork will be displayed in the Capitol along with pieces by students from across the country. Mid-Michigan is bursting with artistic talent and we got so many great submissions this year.

Had a great time chatting with @joshcowenMI about how we can lift up students, families, and teachers. One thing we need to do is help working parents keep more of their hard-earned money. I’ve got a tax cut that would put $5,500 per child back in their pockets.

Families are being crushed by high housing costs. Democrats and Republicans came together in massive numbers to pass a bill that will lower those costs. And instead of signing it into law, the President is playing political games.

No politician should get rich off insider information, especially while parents struggle to afford groceries or housing. Let’s close the loopholes and get to work lowering costs for working families.
