There has been a mill in Raymond for over a hundred years and it is a core part of the make-up of Pacific County. Recently, I got a chance to see the Weyehaeuser mill and my visit was a look into what we really need to be a society that builds and creates, not just consumes.
Thanks for bringing attention to miscarriage @PamelaBrownCNN and @CNNSitRoom. These aren’t easy conversations to have, but things won’t get better if we don’t talk–and that’s crazy because 1 in 4 women will have a miscarriage at some point in their life.
When you buy something, you should actually own it. This is a country of skilled, capable people, and we should be able to fix our own stuff. Right to Repair is one of the main reasons I ran for office - it’s time for congress to affirm our right to steward the things we rely on.
I’m relieved the Supreme Court is not interfering with Washington’s mail-in ballot system. If you work a shift job, have young kids, or live out in the woods, you can’t just knock off for the day to go stand in line at a polling place. For decades, Washington’s secure vote by
