Proud to visit Stepping Stone, which specializes in LGBTQ+-affirming treatment for substance use disorder, mental health services, and transitional housing. When it was founded in 1976, most treatment programs turned away LGBTQ+ people or asked them to closet themselves.

Last week, I helped pack backpacks with school supplies with Home Start, a local non-profit focused on helping kids grow up in safe and stable homes across San Diego County. Every kid deserves to have everything they need to thrive in school and beyond.
More U.S. strikes on Iran mean prolonged high costs for Americans, and higher potential for retaliation against U.S. service members – my constituents – in the region. President Trump needs to abandon the strongman tactics and negotiate to end this war now.
