I was glad to meet with representatives from the American Farm Bureau Federation to discuss ways that we can work together to support farmers in the Second District and across Alabama.

I was happy to welcome Gracie Niolet, the Second District’s 2026 Congressional Art Competition winner, to DC! Gracie’s artwork will be displayed in the Capitol for the next year along with winners from all across the country. Congrats, Gracie!

Had a great time at the Phenix City Mayor’s Ball this past weekend to support scholarship opportunities for local students and the work of nonprofits and charities throughout the community. This is a great event put on by Phenix City Mayor Eddie Lowe that makes a huge impact for

Jackson Hospital provides critical care to the people in Montgomery and the surrounding counties. Failure of this hospital cannot be an option. I’m urging all parties involved to work toward a long-term solution to ensure my constituents can continue to get the care they need.
