It’s National Public Health Week and we just wrapped up a roundtable in Demopolis with rural health care leaders from across our district. I’m fighting to make sure rural providers get the resources they need to stay open and serve every patient who walks through their doors!

This morning I visited DaVita Kidney Care in Demopolis to talk with patients and providers about the importance of making dialysis services accessible in rural Alabama. Grateful to this team for the work they do each day!
Team Sewell had a great visit to Jones Valley Teaching Farm in Birmingham. We’re so grateful for the opportunities they give our young people to grow, cook, and access healthy foods!
