Procedures in Regulating and Enforcing Unfair and Deceptive Practices

Through this NPRM, the Department is seeking comment on a proposal to reinstate the hearing procedures used when conducting a discretionary rulemaking action under its authority to regulate unfair and deceptive practices in air transportation or the sale of air transportation. This NPRM also seeks comment on the rescission of a final rule published by the Department. In addition, this NPRM announces the rescission of a 2022 guidance document regarding unfair and deceptive practices.
