Description
The EEOC offers for public comment this draft Strategic Plan, which would establish a framework for achieving the EEOC’s mission to “prevent and remedy unlawful employment discrimination and advance equal employment opportunity for all.” The strategic planning process, which includes this opportunity for public comment, is guided by three values that form the basis of agency culture and guide the agency’s work: Commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity; Accountability; and Integrity. The Draft Strategic Plan sets-out three strategic goals: 1. Combat and prevent employment discrimination through the strategic application of the EEOC’s law enforcement authorities. 2. Prevent employment discrimination and advance equal employment opportunities through outreach and training; and 3. Strive for organizational excellence through our people, practices, and technology. This draft plan was developed consistent with the requirements of the Government Performance Results Act Modernization Act (GPRAMA). Further details can be found in the draft Strategic Plan attached to this notice. Going forward, the EEOC will assess the comments received by the deadline, make any revisions it deems necessary to the plan, and present the revised plan to the Commission for final approval and implementation. All comments received will be posted without change to https://www.regulations.gov, including any personal information you provide. However, the EEOC reserves the right to refrain from posting libelous or otherwise inappropriate comments, including those that contain obscene, indecent, or profane language; that contain threats or defamatory statements; that contain hate speech directed at race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, disability, or genetic information; or that promote or endorse services or products.
