Western Michigan 2015 Ozone Moderate NOx RACT and revision to Part 8 rules

Pursuant to Section 110 of the federal Clean Air Act (CAA) and the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is submitting a request to revise Michigan’s State Implementation Plan (SIP) to include the attached West Michigan SIP for the 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) for Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) and Revisions to Part 8 Rules. This submittal includes the promulgated revisions to “Part 8. Emission Limitations and Prohibitions – Oxides of Nitrogen” rules for the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (USEPA) review and approval for inclusion in the Michigan SIP.
