Notice of availability of a Hatchery Genetic Management Plan (HGMP) for public comment.

NMFS has received one Hatchery Genetic Management Plan (HGMP) for the Snake River Sockeye Salmon Hatchery Program. The plans describe one hatchery program operated by the Idaho Department of Fish and game (IDFG), NOAA's Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC), Shoshone-Bannock Tribe (SBT), and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). This notice provides an opportunity to comment on a HGMP document on implementing the proposed hatchery program and associated findings. This is the step prior to issuing a final 10(a)(1)(A) authorization for this HGMP.
