Geologic Repository Operations Area Security and Material Control and Accounting Requirements

This rulemaking would amend the NRC's regulations regarding security and material control and accounting requirements for a geologic repository operations area. The rule would establish security and material control and accounting requirements for a geologic repository operations area that were identified to be necessary after the events of September 11, 2001. The scope of the rulemaking would affect security and material control and accounting programs at geological repository operations areas.
