Increased Flexibility in the Mandatory Hearing Process

This rulemaking would amend the NRC’s regulations to remove the requirement to make specific findings under the National Environmental Policy Act in an uncontested proceeding; thereby, providing the Commission more flexibility with the conduct of uncontested hearings.
