NRC Reviews of Reactor Designs Previously Authorized by U.S. Department of Energy or Department of War (formerly titled Streamlined Reviews of Proven Reactor Designs)

Consistent with Executive Order 14300, “Ordering the Reform of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission,” the NRC is conducting a review and wholesale revision of its regulations. This initiative aims to establish a pathway for streamlined reviews of proven reactor designs.
