Financial Data Transparency Act Joint Data Standards
Description
The Providing Accountability Through Transparency Act of 2023 requires that a notice of proposed rulemaking include the internet address of a summary of not more than 100 words in length of the proposed rule, in plain language, that shall be posted on the internet website under section 206(d) of the E-Government Act of 2002 (44 U.S.C. 3501 note). In summary, the Agencies are issuing this proposed rule for public comment that would establish data standards, that would separately be adopted for certain collections of information. Jointly establishing such data standards would promote interoperability of financial regulatory data across these agencies and would fulfill requirements of the Financial Data Transparency Act of 2022.
