Safety Zone; Atlantic Ocean, Key Biscayne, FL

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for all navigable waters within a 500-yard radius of a helicopter crash site offshore Key Biscayne, FL. The safety zone is needed to protect vessels from the crash wreckage and potential fuel leaks as well as to allow for emergency response operations and investigations. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port (COTP) Miami.
