Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within mile marker 58 to miler marker 59 of the Kanawha River near Charleston, WV. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by a fireworks display on July 4, 2024. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Ohio Valley or a designated representative.
