Safety Zone; Back Channel, Long Beach, CA

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 400-yard radius of the Long Beach International Gateway Bridge. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel and vessels from potential safety hazards during a law enforcement investigation and first responder actions. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Los Angeles-Long Beach.
