Safety Zone, Willamette River, Portland, OR

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for the eastern navigable waters of Ross Island in Portland, OR located on the Willamette River. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards created by a vessel fire located on the eastern side of Ross Island. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Columbia River.
