Safety Zone; Manistee River, Manistee, MI

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 100-yard radius of position 44°14'49.81"N 86°20'22.02"W in Manistee, MI. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with salvage work to recover a submerged dock in the navigable channel. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lake Michigan.
