Description
The Coast Guard is establishing security zones in the navigable waters of the San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, CA, along U.S. Highway 101 from Sierra Point to Candlestick Point approximately 2,500 yards from shore, and along the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge approximately 250 yards to either side. The security zones are necessary to protect harbor, ports, and waterfront facilities during a visit by high-ranking government officials and members of their official party. Entry of vessels or persons into these zones is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port San Francisco or a designated representative.
