Safety Zone; Fireworks Display, Acushnet River, New Bedford, MA

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 250-yard radius of the fireworks launch site on the Acushnet River in the vicinity of New Bedford Harbor, MA for the Lars Vinjerud II Fireworks Display. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by the fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Southeastern New England.
