Southern California Annual Marine Events for the Los Angeles Long Beach Captain of the Port Zone

The Coast Guard will enforce a special local regulation for the Ocean Institute Maritime Festival from September 13, 2024, through September 15, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day to provide for the safety of life on navigable waterways during this event. Our regulation for marine events within the Los Angeles-Long Beach Captain of the Port Zone identifies the regulated area for this event in Dana Point, CA. During the enforcement periods, the operator of any vessel in the regulated area must comply with directions from the Patrol Commander or any Official Patrol displaying a Coast Guard ensign.
