Safety Zone; Newport Beach Harbor, Newport Beach, CA

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 100-yard radius of operations in vicinity of the Newport Beach Harbor Entrance. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel and vessels from potential safety hazards during an oil spill boom deployment exercise. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Los Angeles-Long Beach.
