Security Zone; VPOTUS Visit, Grand Rapids, MI

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary security zone for navigable waters of Grand River within a 500-yard radius of Riverside Park at 2001 Monroe Avenue in Grand Rapids, MI. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters during a visit by the Vice President of the United States. This rule prohibits persons and vessels from being in the security zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Lake Michigan (COTP) or a designated representative.
