Safety Zone, Veterans Day Channel Crossing, Catalina Island to Huntington Beach

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary moving safety zone for navigable waters between Catalina Island and Huntington Beach for the Veterans Day Channel Crossing within a 200-yard radius of event participants and support craft. This safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by human powered craft transiting across the Traffic Separation Scheme. Entry of vessels or persons into these zones is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Los Angeles-Long Beach.
