Special Local Regulation, Ohio River, New Martinsville, WV

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation for certain waters of the Ohio River. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Hannibal Lock and Dam during a vintage boat race on August 30th and 31st 2025. This proposed rulemaking would prohibit non-participants from being in the regulated area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Ohio Valley or a designated representative.
