Safety Zone; Hawk Channel, Islamorada, FL

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters near the southern end of Islamorada, FL and extending to the Alligator Reef Light House for the 2025 Alligator Reef Lighthouse Open Water Swim. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by swimmers crossing Hawks Channel. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Key West.
