Safety Zone; Devil’s Elbow, Lake Charles, LA

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 1000-foot radius of Devil’s Elbow Light 2 on the Devil’s Elbow Channel. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by installing a temporary dredge pipeline. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Port Arthur.
